Ubicada en La Reserva Ecológica Alturas de Banao en el Municipio Sancti Spíritus a 20 km de la ciudad y 54 km de Trinidad, Cuba.

En Jarico, se observa una gran biodiversidad de flora y fauna, existen bellos bosques de sombra y helechos arborescentes, aves endémicas y autóctonas, el río Banao ofrece al visitante sus aguas cristalinas y frescas para disfrute de baño. En una ruta que va bordeando las laderas de la Montaña de Guamuhaya se recrean bellas visuales hasta llegar a la Estación Biológica La Sabina. Se observa durante el recorrido ruinas de antiguas casas de viviendas de pobladores del siglo XIX dedicados a la ganadería.
