The Meseta de Maisí is a very interesting region in which enormous marine terraces predominate, in the shape of a horseshoe, bordering the entire eastern end of Cuba, from the Bay of Baracoa to the Punta de Maisí. On the lower terrace is the Punta de Maisí lighthouse, while the upper terrace rises to the impressive altitude of almost 500 meters. In some places you can see up to 15 terraces that have vertical cliffs on their front that can reach up to 70 meters high.
